Our Guarantee

We want you to feel confident in every purchase from Plan B Retro. All of our products are carefully tested, and most vintage mechanical or electronic devices are refurbished before sale to ensure they function exactly as described.

 

Warranty Coverage: Online Purchases Only

We guarantee all vintage and retro items against serious faults or failure under normal use:

• Cameras: 3 Month Warranty (repair or replacement)
• Walkmans: 1 Year Warranty  

This guarantee does not cover:

• Vintage toys
• Items sold as spares or repair 
• Collector’s items
• Accidental or misuse damage  

In some cases, we may be able to offer repairs for accidental damage at a reasonable fee.

 

Change of Mind?

As per the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a 14-day return period if you change your mind.  
To qualify for a refund:
- Items must remain unused and in the exact condition they were shipped in.  
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.  

Please note: This excludes special order items (anything ordered specifically at your request)

 

Warranty Coverage: In-Store Purchases at Hops only

Items bought in-store at Hopkinson’s are not covered by distance selling rules.

We offer a 30-day repair or replacement guarantee on all items purchased in-store. If your item develops a fault, we’re happy to help! Faulty items can also be returned within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.

Please note: Our guarantee doesn’t cover accidental damage, and we don’t offer refunds or returns on non-faulty items purchased in-store.

POSTAGE

UK Postage and Collection

All items are shipped as quickly as possible.  items are usually dispatched the next working day, via Royal Mail.

Items are packed the night before and are posted first thing in the morning. All items are posted with tracking and insurance to their sold values.

Collection from our Somercotes store is also possible, please email us to arrange a collection date and time at planbretro193@gmail.com.

Please note if collecting in person then distance selling regulations do not apply. 

 

International Postage

Due to the new Brexit shipping regulations, we do not currently offer international shipping on our website, however, this is still available on our eBay page via their global shipping system. You can find us at www.eBay.co.uk/str/planbretro or feel free to email us for more information.
